Description
On a drive through the western landscape of Madagascar, marvel at the Malagasy highlands, look at many species of lemurs in the Kirindy Forest, trek through the rock forest at Tsingy and have the opportunity to understand the customs and daily life of local Sakalava tribe. Spend a few days at the paradisical beaches of Bel Sur Mer and enjoy the experience of sailing on the Indian Ocean.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Antananarivo
When you arrive at the airport, the Madagascar tour guide will be there waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it.
After picking you up at the airport, drive to the hotel in Antananarivo and give you a special briefing about your upcoming journey and answer any questions you may have about your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Miandrivazo
After your breakfast, set off to Miandrivazo. En Route, you will see the beautiful landscape of the Malagasy highlands.
On your journey, stop by Ambatolampy to look at the local craftwork made from aluminium, such as casseroles.
Have lunch in Antsirabe, and continue the journey to the final destination, Miandrivazo. It is one of the hottest regions in all of Madagascar.

Day 3: Kirindy Forest
After a good breakfast, drive 7 hours west to the Kirindy Forest. On your drive, see the famous sacred baobab, where the local Sakalava tribe perform rituals. In these rituals, people normally thank them by putting candy, cigarettes, coins and money in the shrine.
Upon arrival in the Kirindy in the afternoon, take time to check into the hotel and relax.
In the late afternoon before dark, walk for about two hours in Kirindy Reserve Forest to look at the nocturnal wildlife such as the biggest carnivore fox in Madagascar and nocturnal lemurs.
Return to the hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 4: Beopaka
After breakfast, begin your day with a 2-hour tour of the Kirindy Reserve and observe other wildlife such as coquerel blue coua, the common brown lemur and the Dickens Safika.
Make your way to the final destination for the day, the village of Bekopaka.
On your way to Bekopaka, take your first ferry to cross the Tsiribihina river into the town of Belo Tsiribihina where you will take a short break and have lunch.
Cross the Manambolo river by ferry and arrive at Bekopaka.
Check into the hotel and settle in for the evening.

Day 5: Tsingy De Bemraha Nature Reserve
Spend the day visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Bemaraha Tsingy.
At the Tsingy, see a cave called the "Cathedral”, the hanging bridge and see many of the indigenous animals that live here such as, the Sifaka lemur and Common brown lemur. Also, see wild birds and the biggest carnivore in Madagascar called Fossa. See different kinds of indigenous plants such as the “Palissandre”.
Continue your excursion into the smaller section of the Tsingy.

Day 6: Morondava
Travel towards the south to the city of Morondava. On the way to Morondava, see the “In love Baobab”, which is the unique scene of two large Baobab trees that have grown together intertwined. These trees symbolize the union of two lovers, and many couples come here to renew their vows.
Continue the drive to admire the most popular sunset in all of Madagascar: the sunset at Baobab Alley.
Journey on to Morondava.
Arrive and check into the hotel, settling in for the evening.

Day 7: Arrival in Belo Sur Mer
After a hearty breakfast, head to Belo Sur Mer, a village located along the shores of the Mozambique Channel. Belo is known for its long stretch of white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, as well as the production of salt. The local people in Belo Sur Mer are famous for building unique wooden boats that can hold up to 100 tons of weight.
Arrive at Belo Sur Mer and check into your hotel.
Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 8: Andravohana Island Excursion
After a light breakfast, sail for two hours to the island of Andravohana. During the sailing trip, you have the option of snorkelling along the reefs of the Mozambique Channel or explore the “Whale Safari” (only available May-September).
Arrive at Andravohana Island and enjoy a picnic lunch relaxing by the beautiful shores of the Mozambique Channel.

Day 9: At leisure in Belo Sur Mer
Delight in spending a full day at your leisure or check out the different activities that the hotel offers, such as visiting the nearby islands, kayaking, snorkelling and much more.

Day 10: Antananarivo
Embark on a day-long journey back to Antananarivo.
Upon arrival in the capital, check into your hotel and settle in for the evening.

Day 11: Shopping & Departure
On the last day, visit the queen's palace or the royal palace.
- Spend the rest of the morning looking at Malagasy craftwork, local spices, vanilla, and much more.
- Prepare for your departure at Ivato International Airport.
Arrive at the airport 2 hours before your departure time.
