Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo Airport

   • Arrival time at Antananarivo International Airport. Meet and greet at the airport.
   • Drive out from the Airport to reach your hotel in the centre.

2. Day 2: Antananarivo - Andasibe Village

   • 7:00 am – Meet you from your hotel.  
   • First, we travel to Andasibe village, that found at 4 hrs drive to the east of Tana following the national road N°2.
   • On the route, we can stop at Madagascar Exotic Park, which is a privately run reserve at Marozevo and is situated between the towns of Manjakandriana and Moramanga. This happens to be a very popular tourist to sights of different reptiles, butterflies, moths, insects and more.
   • Drive you to Vakona Forest Lodge, where you can have lunch and do an excursion to meet the lemurs on their own private island.  
   • By evening, 6:30 pm, start your night walk safari to see those animals that are active only at night at VOIMM, the community park, where it is easy to find them. You will discover the smallest lemurs and other endemic reptiles.

3. Day 3: Andasibe National Park - Antananarivo

   • 8:00 am- We will commence our guided tour through the mesmerizing rainforest region of Madagascar.
   • Our main goal will be to spot the diverse wildlife that calls this park home, particularly the impressive array of lemurs, which comprises more than five distinct species. One remarkable aspect of this national park is its rich variety of avian creatures, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. You will have the opportunity to witness the largest lemur, known as the "indri-indri," famous for its resounding vocalizations that can be heard from distances of up to 4-5 kilometres.
   • In the afternoon, drive back on the same road to Antananarivo.

4. Day 4: Tana - Flight To Bekopaka Village- Tsingy Park

   • 6:00 Am -This morning, we will pick you up from your hotel to get your private flight to Bekopaka village. 
   • The flight will take us about 2 hours. Once we land at Bekopaka village, 4x4 cars will join us and drive us for 1hrs to explore the Big Tsingy. This park is ranked among the heritage sites of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. 
   • The visit will take us at least 4 hours with an experienced local guide. It is challenging, so bring good walking shoes and get ready to do some climbing and hiking. In the afternoon, a visit from 1 to 1h30 to discover the small Tsingy with sunset spot.

5. Day 5: Bekopaka - Belo Town - Baobaba -Morondava

   • Distance: 280km – Drive duration: 6 hrs - Road condition: Off-road 
   • Early morning breakfast at the hotel. 7:00 Am 
   • We will depart to begin our journey for a 3-hour off-road trip to Belo sur Tsiribihina. 
   • From there, we will take a ferry to Tsimafana and continue our travel via a bumpy, dirty road for 3 hours until we reach Morondava. On route, we will have the opportunity to witness the stunning sunset at the renowned Baobab avenue. Finally, we will arrive in Morondava in the late afternoon and transfer to our hotel for a comfortable stay.

6. Day 6: Morodnava Town - Flight To Anjajavy Lodge Reserve

   • Check-in: 6:30 Am – Arrive at 8: 30 Am 10:00 am 
   • Transfer to the airport and fly to Anjajavy Peninsula, located northwest of the island. 
   • On arrival, transfer to the hotel and spend the rest of the day leisurely. This place is a real corner of paradise in a quiet private area where you will have a peaceful stay with a mix of luxury and wildlife experiences.

7. Day 7: Discover Anjajavy Lodge Forest

   • The Anjajavy forest in Madagascar is a haven for wildlife, with a biodiverse range of creatures calling it home. From chameleons and frogs to lemurs, this natural habitat offers a unique opportunity to explore and encounter these species. With more than five species of lemurs to be found, visitors can easily spot them during walks or from the comfort of their villa.
   • The reserve also offers various activities for guests to enjoy, from traversing the baobab forest and exploring the tsingy labyrinth to hiking along cliff paths and going on guided birding trips.
   • Additionally, mountain biking, catamaran trips, kayaking, and visits to Moramba Bay provide further adventure and exploration opportunities. With its stunning environment and range of activities, the Anjajavy forest and its reserve truly offer something for every nature enthusiast.

8. Day 8: Anjajavy Reserve Lodge - Beach

   • Today is a free day at your leisure to discover the hidden gems of this paradise area. 
   • The hotel offers a few activities that are included in the package, guided by their specialist local guide.

9. Day 9: Anjajavy Le Lodge - Flight Back To Tana

   • 6:00 am - Depart for the lodge airstrip and fly to Antananarivo city. 
   • Another car with a driver will meet us and then transfer you out to your Hotel. 
   • Visit the Queen Palace and get some souvenirs to bring home if interested. 
   • The rest of the day at your leisure before we drop you back at the airport again to Home. 
   • Our services will end after dropping you off at the main international airport.
