Itinerary

1. Cetinje - Njegusi Village - Lovcen Serpentine - Kotor - Budva

   • Depart by the schedule and drive to Cetinje – The Old Royal Capital of Montenegro (duration 1 – 2h depending on the place – the city of departure). Arrive in Cetinje and do sightseeing in the city. See the Cetinje Monastery, Ćipuri Church, the former Njegoš’s residence – Biljarda, King Nikola’s Museum, the Presidential Palace, the Royal Theater “the Royal Theater “Zeta house”, and the monument of Ivan Crnojević, Zeta ruler and founder of Cetinje (duration 1h).

   • Drive towards Njeguši. Reach the village Njeguši – the birthplace of Petar II Petrović Njegoš. The place is also known for traditional prosciutto, homemade cheese, honey and wine. Savour the tasting of traditional products (about 1h and 15 min).

   • Continue driving to the Lovćen Serpentine (duration 1h and 20 min). Pause capturing photos on the road. There is a legend that the designer Joseph Slade had devoted this route to princess Milena, so this part of the route is in the shape of her initials.

   • Embark on Kotor city sightseeing: Old Town, the Square of Arms, the Cathedral of St. Triphon, the Church of St. Luke, the Maritime Museum, and the Cat Square.

     • Get free time for enjoying food at one of the famous restaurants in town, shopping or, for those more active, climbing on the walls to the fortress of San Giovanni. The total time to spare in Kotor is 2 hours, so if you decide to climb on the walls, you need 45 minutes to 1 hour).

   • Drive to Budva (approx. 40 min). Go on a tour of the Old Town of Budva with beautiful churches, squares, and citadel. Enjoying a walk in the winding streets and a beautiful marina (about 1h).

   • Return to the starting point to end the tour.
