Arrive at the most important centre of the Durmitor region and begin with a stroll to the Black lake, one of the most beautiful parts of Durmitor National Park. Enjoy its serene beauty by taking a walk along its path. Have a drink, take some photos or go kayaking. Propel to the famous River Tara Canyon, the second deepest river canyon in the World. Explore the monumental bridge on Djurdjevica Tara.

Itinerary

Durmitor National Park Expedition
- Meet and greet your Žabljak tour guide and depart from your accommodation in the direction of Durmitor Mountain National Park.
- Visit the Black lake. Experience the beauty of the lake and go hiking, swimming or kayaking.
- Ride to Tara river which takes 30 minutes. After visiting the lake, continue to the famous River Tara Canyon, the second deepest river canyon in the World.
- Proceed on Djurdjevica Tara bridge (45 minutes).
- Visit the monumental bridge on Djurdjevica Tara. Here, you will learn about the historical facts and interesting stories about the bridge. You will have some leisure time for photos, snacks and coffee. If you are a thrill seeker and crave an adrenaline rush, you can even do the 1 km long zip line.
- Have a lunch break (Optional). On your way back to Žabljak, you can have a traditional lunch made up of Montenegrin specialities.
- Drive back to your accommodation.
