1. Skadar lake Tour

   • Arrive at one of the five national parks in Montenegro, the Skadar Lake a fine destination for sightseeing.

   • Enjoy a boat ride with your guide to experience the lake's beauty at its best.

   • Stop for lunch and relish fresh lake fish specialities (smoked or fried carp/trout), prepared on the boat. (Optional but highly recommended).

   • Visit the famous medieval town of Zabljak Crnojevica - the old capital of Montenegro's lord Ivan Crnojevic. We will visit oddments of the city. As it is positioned on the top of the hill, in the middle of the swamp of Lake Skadar, this fortified town carries with itself plenty of stories and secrets of its past.

   • Proceed to the river town of Rijeka Crnojevica - an old capital of medieval Montenegro (15th century), and today, represents one of the most important tourist sites in Lake Skadar National park. Restaurants with traditional cuisine will make your visit pleasant and the view from the old bridge contributes to the return period in Old Montenegro.

   • Head to the petite medieval fising town of Virpazar; the starting point for the most of Skadar lake excursions and famous of fish, wine, honey and beautiful seafood restaurants.

   • Sail to visit a household or restaurant and taste some lake specialties.

   * The boat ride can take 2 to 3 hours (from March until the end of October), so you can see the most beautiful Skadar lake places - small fishing villages, island with old churches, prisons or fortresses. If you are lucky enough you can enjoy the view of 250 different sorts of birds - nesting birds or the ones that are coming here just for vacation.
