Bender City
- Our first stop will be the city of Bender, the largest one from Transnistria.
- Bendery is an ancient marvelous city of Pridnestrovie on the right bank of the Dniester River (PMR. The history of the city is closely intertwined with modernity.
- The city center is very picturesque, where the quarters are primarily buildings of the late 19th – early 20th centuries. There are many historical and architectural monuments in the city, the pearl of the city is the Bendery Fortress.

Tiraspol
- Tiraspol is the capital of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR). It is a beautiful, modern, and hospitable city on the banks of the Dniester River.
- Every year it becomes more elegant and more comfortable for the citizens as well as for the guests of the region. The city pays attention to improving the appearance of buildings and streets and infrastructure development, new places appeared recently for recreation for adults and children and sports.
- Tiraspol is a city always open for tourism and travel. Especially in the summer-fall season, many people come here from Russia, the CIS, the European Union, and other countries.

Bender Fortress
- Bender is the oldest city in Pridnestrovie, first mentioned in written documents in 1408.
- By the end of the 15th century, a fortress already existed on the elevated bank of Nistru near the settlement. It would become one of the largest fortifications in this region of Europe.
- In 1538, the Ottoman Empire began a massive rebuilding of the fortress, and until 1812, Bender remained a Turkish city, until finally it was left to the Russian Empire under the Bucharest Peace Treaty.
- For more than six centuries, the city and the fortress have seen dozens of wars and battles. In memory of the heroic history of Bender, the city is called the “City of Military Glory”.
- The last time the fortress served its intended purpose was to protect the city in 1992. A separate scientific and informational publication is dedicated to the history of Bender and of the fortress. It is called “Bender Fortress. A living symbol of history.”
- Today Bender is the second largest city in Pridnestrovie, a powerful industrial and cultural center, and the largest railway hub.
