Day 1: Marrakech
Discover the hidden cultural sides of Marrakech city on your first day. Visit historic sites, food markets, bakeries, hammams, artisan workshops, gardens and museums.
Visit the colourful Souks, herbalists stalls and workshops.
End your day at Djemaa El Fna square, where hundreds of locals meet every day to enjoy shows by musicians, snake charmers, acrobats, jugglers and other local performers.

Day 2: Marrakech to Aït Ben Haddou to Dades Gorge
With a pick-up from Marrakech city, continue onto Ouarzazate (1,160 m) through the Tizi n Tichka pass (2260m), near the High Atlas Mountains.
Arrive at the famous Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah (medina or fortress) in Morocco and a UNESCO heritage site.
Enjoy lunch at the Kasbah before proceeding on to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate.
On the way, also stop at Kalaat M'Gouna city, which is known for its annual Rose Festival.
Overnight stay at a hotel or B&B or Riad (traditional Moroccan house) overlooking the Dades Valley.

Day 3: Dades Gorge to Todra Gorge to Merzouga
After breakfast, drive back through the Dades valley to see the amazing rock formation, The Monkey Toes and the still-standing 19th century Kasbah of Ait Yul.
After leaving the Dades valley, proceed towards Tinrghir and the Todra valley and enjoy some panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages.
Arrive at Todra Gorge, where you get to walk under a 300 m high red cliff, a favourite spot for many rock-climbers.
Continue to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch, followed by a stop at the Merzouga village.
Go on a short camel ride.
Overnight stay at Hotel/Riad or B&B, where you will be welcomed with a glass of mint tea.

Day 4: Merzouga & Camel Ride
After breakfast, explore the surrounding areas and local villages to experience local music and lifestyle. Not far away here, there’s the lake of Merzouga, famous for its bird populations, including flamingos. Take some candid shots here.
Visit the nomad wire house nearby to see Berber handicrafts and products.
In the afternoon, mount your camel, along with a guide for a short camel ride to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the tent.

Day 5: Merzouga to Rissani to Ziz Valley to Errachidia
Early morning, wake up to watch the best sunrise of your life. Then, proceed for a camel trek back to your Riad in Merzouga.
After breakfast, travel to Errachidia via the towns of Rissani and Erfoud. In Rissani, walk within the authentic Souk, an assortment of vegetables, spices and dates. Engage in conversations with local traders.
Continue to Errachidia along the magnificent rich Ziz valley. Take candid shots here, over the Ziz Canyon.
Overnight stay in Hotel/Riad/B&B.

Day 6: Errachidia to Midelt to Azrou to Fes
After breakfast, travel to Fes via Midlet and Ifrane. Your journey will be along the rich Ziz Gorges that have been carved through volcanic rocks.
On the way, stop at Zaida and enjoy a nice barbecue along with a glass of mint tea.
Continue towards Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, see some Barbarian apes in the famous Cedar forest area.
Arrive at Ifrane, the French village, for snacks and drinks before heading onto your accommodation at Fes.
