Day 1: From Fez to Midelt
Your adventure begins as you depart from the enchanting city of Fez, famous for its historic medina and intricate architecture. You'll embark on a scenic drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views of charming towns and picturesque landscapes. Make a stop in Ifrane, often referred to as "Little Switzerland" due to its unique European-inspired architecture. Continue your journey through the Middle Atlas, passing the stunning cedar forest of Azrou, where you might catch a glimpse of Barbary macaques in their natural habitat. As the day draws to a close, you'll arrive in Midelt, a town nestled in the high plains of the Middle Atlas, where you'll spend the night.

Day 2: Midelt to Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)
On day two, your journey south towards the Sahara Desert continues. You'll pass through the awe-inspiring Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves, and have the opportunity to take in the beauty of this unique landscape. Arriving in Merzouga, a village located near the Erg Chebbi dunes, you'll be greeted by the golden sands of the Sahara. Wake up early on day three to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, casting a warm and ethereal glow over the desert. After breakfast, you'll have the chance to explore the dunes on foot or by 4x4 vehicle and perhaps even try your hand at sandboarding down the silky slopes. A visit to the nearby Khamlia Village offers an opportunity to experience the traditional Gnawa music and culture, deepening your immersion in the desert's unique heritage. As you traverse the Dades Valley, you'll be captivated by its unique rock formations.
