Itinerary

1. DAY-1 Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Zagora

   • After breakfast, you depart for Ouarzazate over the High Atlas Mountains through the Tichka Pass. You will see the Berber villages tucked away in the mountain side.

   • After 3 hours, you arrive at Aït Benhaddou, a site classified as world heritage of UNESCO and one of the world's most magnificent Kasbahs. This setting has been used for more films than any other location in Morocco (The Mummy, Lawrence of Arabia, Astérix, etc.).

   • Continue towards Ouarzazate to visit some of the studios of the cinema. 

   • Further, continue to Zagora by the Draa Valley and crossing the magic palm plantation to visit the very old kasbah 

   • In the afternoon, you will have a camel trip to Ennakhla dunes (2 hours trek).

   • Spend the night in Berber tent (you can take pictures of sunset and sunrise on the dunes).

2. DAY-2 Zagora-Ouarzazate-Marrakesh

   • Visit Tamagroute, an underground village to see traditional pottery workshops.

   • Explore the magnificent library founded in the XVII century which houses illuminated manuscripts of the Koran written on gazelle skin as well as works of history and medicine.

   • Eat lunch in Tichka pass.

   • In the afternoon, you will return to Marrakech.
