Description
Visit the largest Kasbah in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou and the monkey toes. Travel to the Dades Valley, Todra valley and the 'Switzerland of morocco'. Explore Merzouga Desert, enjoy a camel ride in the desert, have mint tea and do much more!
Itinerary

Day 1 - Marrakech to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou
- Pick up at 7:30 am from Marrakech and drive towards Ouarzazate through the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass at 2260 m over the High Atlas Mountains.
- Enjoy the landscapes and the beauty of Berber villages. Visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO historical site (this famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films). Have lunch at the Kasbah before continuing to Dades valley via Ouarzazate, called the Hollywood of Africa.
- Pass along the Road of the thousand Kasbahs before stopping at Kalaat Mgouna. It is well-known for roses and its annual festival during May.
Spend the night in the heart of the Dades Gorge in the local riad/guest house with dinner and breakfast.

Day 2 - Todra Gorges to Merzouga
- After breakfast in the riad, drive through the valley to see rock formation “the monkey toes”. Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley, see panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley.
- Walk under the 300 m high red cliff, where many Rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport.
- Continuing to Erfoud and Rissani and have lunch. Leave for the village of Merzouga, where your camel will be awaiting you. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea and a desert scarf before your camel ride starts heading into the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi, guided by an experienced camel guide.
- After 1.5 hours, get to the highest dunes in morocco to see one of the best sunsets in your life. Then, get to the nomadic Berber tents where you will have dinner and enjoy a campfire, drum party.
Overnight stay in the desert.

Day 3 - Merzouga Desert to Fes
- Wake up early to see the sunrise and take a camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga, appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes.
- Have breakfast in Merzouga and leave for Fes via Errachidia along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock and the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt.
- Stop at Zaida to enjoy a barbecue and refresh with a glass of mint tea before continuing to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you’ll stop to see the Barbarian apes in the cedar forest.
- Then, continue to the French village or Switzerland of morocco. Take a photoshop and have a drink before arriving at your accommodation in Fes.
