Itinerary

1. Day 1: Marrakech to Tizi n Tichka Pass to Ouarzazate to Zagora

   • Get picked up from your hotel in Marrakech at 8 o'clock in the morning.
   • Depart to the High Atlas mountains passing through Tizi N'Tichka pass with stops for panoramic views.
   • On the way, see many Berber villages. Then, continue to the south and detour to take 6 km of another road that will lead to the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot on this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, etc. Enjoy some free time for lunch in town.
   • Continue to Zagora through the Anti Atlas mountains and make some stops to take pictures.
   • After 2 hours of driving, arrive at destination Zagora desert at about 5 pm.
   • Leave the car there to ride the camels towards the camp of Berber tent; the ride takes about one hour, and admire the sunset.
   • After dinner, enjoy a show with drums and Berber music.

   Spend the night in the camp, sleeping in the nomad tent under the star lights in the heart of the desert.

2. Day 2: Zagora Desert to Ouarzazate to Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech

   • Wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise from a small dune next to the camp.

   • After breakfast, return to Zagora on the camels and drive towards the Draa Valley.

   • On the way, make some stops to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the valley that runs along the Draa River.

   • Go through the Anti Atlas to reach Ouarzazate, and visit Taourirt Kasbah, the cinema Studios and the Cinema Museum if you wish.

   • Proceed to Marrakech.

   • Stop at Tizi N'Tichka port and have lunch.

   • After lunch, continue the trip and, in about 2 hours, reach Marrakech and transfer to the hotel.

   End of tour.
