Begin with discovering the old Medina and its narrow streets while hearing detailed stories from the guide. Through this visit, you will learn about the Moroccan ancient architecture and see its lined up shops of fruits, spices, traditional candies, in addition to the traditional handmade crafts such as carpets, leather bags, copper lamps, wood furniture, ceramic, silver decorative pieces, and more.
Head to the next stop, a crucial cultural monument, also known as one of the oldest universities in Africa, called Al Quaraouiyine University. It was founded in 859. Next to it is another ancient historical monument, Madrassa El Bou Inania. The value of these two monuments is very high because they express the beauty of a mixed collection of architecture, including Andalusia, Merinid, Arabic.
Proceed to the Nejjarine Fountain and the Dar Batha Museum that contains several traditional artefacts with a heavy cultural value.
Continue the journey to explore the biggest tannery of South Africa, the Chouara Tannery, where leather is cleaned, dyed and prepared to be sold to the leather craftsman.
Have lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy delicious Moroccan dishes.
Visit Bab Bou Jeloud or what is called the “blue gate”. This gate is stunning with a combination of blue and green traditional tiles.
Go to the Jewish quarter "Mallah", constructed in 1438 by skilled architects and craftsmen.
Stop by the oldest and famous synagogues in North Africa, Ibn Danan Synagogue, which dates back from the 17th century and is built by Mimoun Ben Sidan.
Head over to the gates of the Royal Palace. This stop attracts many visitors.
Make your last stop at Jnan Sbil Garden with your Moroccan tour guide. This green space gives an Andalusian, Arabic vibe to the surroundings with its stunning fountain and a whole special collection of trees and flowers from all around the world.
End the journey with a drive back to your accommodation or airport.
