Day Excursion to Imlil Atlas Mountain
- 7:00 AM - Meet our tour representative at your hotel or a designated location in Marrakech.
- 9:00 AM - Transfer to Imlil, located in the High Atlas Mountains.
- 9:15 AM - Enjoy traditional Moroccan mint tea and an overview of the day's itinerary and safety guidelines.
- 9:30 AM - Begin the hike towards the Imlil Waterfalls, being led by a local Berber guide to lead the way.
- 10:30 AM - Visit Imlil Waterfalls. Explore the beautiful waterfalls, take photos, and enjoy the natural scenery. Spend about 30 minutes at the waterfalls.
- 11:00 AM - Hike through the picturesque Berber villages such as Aroumd. Learn about the local culture and lifestyle.
- 12:30 PM - Enjoy a homemade Moroccan lunch, typically including tagine, couscous, salads, and fresh bread made at a Berber House. Get an opportunity to interact with the local family and learn about their customs.
- 2:00 PM - Continue hiking towards a viewpoint to see Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. (approximately 1-1.5 hours of moderate hiking)
- 3:30 PM - Hike back to Imlil village. Enjoy a leisurely walk and the stunning mountain landscapes.
- 4:30 PM - Explore the local markets, buy souvenirs, or relax in a café.
- 5:00 PM - Depart for Marrakech by car.
