Marrakech - Atlas Mountains
Relax on a full-day trip from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains in the company of an experienced English-speaking driver, enjoy different landscapes and get spectacular views as far as the eye can see. The altitude here is approximately 1.1 miles (1,800 meters) above sea level, and enjoy the sight of the snowy summits of the High Atlas Mountains!
Continue through the Asni Valley, taking a secluded mountain road route in order to pass through traditional Berber villages built from adobe and stone. Discover the authentic life of the Berber people by visiting and drinking mint tea with a typical Berber family in their home.
Embark on a journey of discovery which continues along a track standing at 1.2 miles (2,000 meters) above sea level. Drive to the Ourika Valley, experience a unique and aromatic garden that contains traditional medicinal plants used by the Berbers.
Encounter the waterfalls of the valley, have a delicious lunch in the beautiful surrounds of a restaurant close to the river and take advantage of the opportunity to visit a local Berber co-operative. Look at the traditional rugs, pottery, and jewellery made on site.
The thrilling tour concludes with a drive back to Marrakech, arriving at approximately 17:00.
