Itinerary

1. Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil Village - Toubkal

   • 7:00 AM - Be ready for pickup from your hotel or hostel in Marrakech.
   • 8:00 AM - Our driver will take you on a scenic drive to Imlil, a charming Berber village in the Atlas Mountains.
   • Arrive in Imlil, situated 1,740 meters above sea level. Meet your muleteer crew who will handle your baggage and essentials.
   • Start your trek with your experienced mountain guide, passing through small Berber villages and the mountain shrine of Sidi Chamharouch.
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch prepared by our cook amidst the stunning mountain scenery.
   • Resume your trek, ascending through the breathtaking landscapes towards the mountain hut.
   • Reach the refuge at 10,500 feet. Relax with mint tea, take a hot shower, and unwind.
   • Rest and prepare for the next day's adventure, enjoying the serene mountain environment.

2. Day 2: Toubkal Summit - Imlil - Marrakech

   • Begin the ascent from the Refuge, navigating the zig-zagging trail up the South Col.
   • Climb the moderately steep scree slope, gaining 750 meters in elevation to reach the Tizi-n Toubkal Pass. The trail is demanding but rewarding, with stunning mountain vistas.
   • Traverse the dramatic ridge to the summit, enjoying panoramic views of the Marrakech Plain, High Atlas Mountains, Anti Atlas Mountains, and the Sahara. The trail is generally straightforward but requires perseverance.
   • Retrace your steps back to the Refuge, where a well-deserved lunch awaits. 
   • Continue descending from the Refuge to Imlil, taking in the scenic beauty.
   • Complete the trek with a drive back to Marrakech, arriving in the evening. Expect a full day of trekking, taking between 8-12 hours, depending on your pace and breaks.
