Description
Explore Remerschen, located on the border between Luxembourg and Germany, the place that was once a sand extraction field became a nature reserve in 1998. Hike and explore a 13 km-long circuit of charming vineyards and hills, passing through scenic trails. See the signature of the renowned architects Hermann and Valentiny, and spot flora and fauna at the natural reserve of Haff Réimech.

Explore the Beauty of Remerschen
- Meet the guide and start from the Remerschen recreation center. This path is easy to follow, and you will circulate mainly on dirt tracks and do a few meters on a paved road.
- Find a challenge with 580 steps that are optional in the middle of your adventure, but whoever does it will feel the reward of seeing a splendid landscape composed of charming vineyards and hills.
- Enter several birdwatching posts along your walk and observe vegetation of moist soils. This hike is a roller coaster of emotions and awe of nature.
- Go for baths in the summer season and visit the Interpretation Center located in your way.
- Spot the nature reserve Haff Réimech, on the bottom of the wine slopes between Schengen and Remich, which is well known for its large diversity of birds and flora and fauna. The nature reserve, Biodiversum, was created on an artificial island. The futuristic building in itself is already worth exploring. It bears the signature of the renowned architects Hermann and Valentiny from Remerschen.
