Drive from Maseru to Thaba Bosiu to Kome caves
Meet your local tour guide and start the drive from Maseru towards Thaba-Bosiu cultural village.
Visit the museum and then head to the cultural village of Thaba Bosiu
Reach the destination and walk on top of the mountain, from where King Moshoeshoe I established and ruled over the Kingdom of Lesotho in the 19th century.
Find his grave, and other principal chiefs are buried on this mountain.
Visit Metolong Dam, which is about 15 km from the cultural village. The dam is part of Lesotho Highlands Water Projects; this place is good for photo shooting.
Take a route to Kome Caves, dwelling in Berea District. The caves are 35 km from the dam; the chief of the Bosiu clan founded them. This place is the living place for the last three generations of Bosiu.
Complete your visit to Kome Caves, and the tour comes to an end.
