Itinerary

Day 1- Talangama
Go to Talangama, and fall in love with the varied collection of water birds. Get a chance to capture their moments in their natural habitat.

Day 2- Polonnaruwa
Get the chance to visit Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Capture some of the greatest historical relics the Sri Lankan heritage has to offer. Photograph the troops of Toque Macaques, who were featured in both the BBC's "Temple Troop" and David Attenborough's "Life of Mammals".

Day 3- Minneriya National Park
Explore Minneriya National Park, a national park in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka. The area was designated as a national park on 12 August 1997, having been originally declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1938.
Take photos with the most spectacular gathering of the elephants at the Minneriya National Park.

Day 4- Wasgamuwa National Park
Visit Wasgamuwa National Park, declared to protect and to make a refuge for the displaced wild animals during the Mahaweli Development Project in 1984.
Venture deep inside to the true nature of Sri Lanka and discover its hidden aspects. Visit the magnificent herds of elephants and other mammals at the Wasgamuwa National Park.

Day 5- Knuckles Wilderness area
Walk around the Knuckles Wilderness area, situated in the Knuckles Mountain Range. It was declared a Conservation Forest in 2000.
Enter one of the most rugged and picturesque terrains in Sri Lanka, the Knuckles Wilderness area and have ample time to photograph its wondrous aspect and features.

Day 6- Hakgala Botanical Gardens
Stroll in Hakgala Botanical Gardens, the second largest garden in Sri Lanka.
Get a chance to see the varied colours of Hakgala Botanical Gardens and photograph the highland races of the Purple-faced Leaf Monkey and Toque Macaque.

Day 7- Horton Plains National Park
Explore the Horton Plains National Park, a national park in the central highlands of Sri Lanka that was designated in 1988. It is located at an elevation of 2,100–2,300 m.
On the morning of the seventh day of this photographic adventure, you will visit the Horton Plains National Park for a montage of endemics and stunted cloud Forests.

Day 8- Yala National Park
Visit Yala National Park, a huge area of forest, grassland and lagoons bordering the Indian Ocean, in southeast Sri Lanka. It’s home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants and crocodiles, as well as hundreds of bird species.
Capture the wild side of Sri Lanka at Yala National Park, where Yala Block 1 has one of the highest densities of leopards in the world. Have the chance to click the moment, and posture of this magnificent creature.

Day 9- Udawalawe National Park
Visit Udawalawe National Park, created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe Reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir.
Capture the magnificent elephants in their natural habitats.

Day 10- Negombo
Travel to Negombo for overnight stay.

Day 11- Departure
Transfer to the International Airport for return flight back home.
