Day 1: Sigiriya
Explore Sigiriya and the famous cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. This rocky outcrop is prominent in tourists worldwide for its enigmatic architectural and engineering skills that baffle even modern-day architects. UNESCO World Heritage Site Sigiriya, built by King Kashyapa 1, is like an impenetrable fortress and extravagant abode and is one of the most visited sites in Sri Lanka.
Go through Lion’s gate to the summit, marvel at the colourful murals and remnants, and take in all the breathtaking views.

Day 2: Dambulla - Kandy
Leave for Kandy via Dambulla with your Sri Lankan tour guide after breakfast.
Visit the Golden Rock cave temple which dates back to the 1st century BCE.

Shop at the pettah market and grasp the true essence of Sri Lankan street life and commence your explorations at the traditional bazaar. Colombo's explosion of colour and quirkiness often fascinates its explorers. Despite attracting an increasing number of foreign investors, this vibrant metropolis has retained its appeal and identity over the years. Indulge in some retail therapy or traverse the streets marvelling at the historical monuments and colonial architecture.
