During this 6-days-long trip, make visits to the highlands and glorious beaches of the south and the west coast of Sri Lanka with stops at picturesque tea plantations. Day 1: Colombo to Kandy
- Meet your tour guide at a previously decided location.
- Travel straight to the city of Kandy, which is approximately a 3 and a half-hour drive from the international airport. Home to the Temple of the Tooth, it is one of the most vulnerable places for the Buddhist community of Sri Lanka and worldwide.
Embark on a sightseeing tour of Kandy, starting with a visit to the Royal Botanical garden.
Explore the Gem Museum,
Witness a cultural dance performance at 5’o clock in the evening, which goes for about an hour.
Experience a special evening puja, including a drumming ceremony in the Buddha’s Tooth Temple, which is right next door and only a walking distance.
Stay overnight in Kandy.

Day 2: Visit Nuwara Eliya
- After breakfast, travel to Nuwara Eliya with the Sri Lankan tour guide.
On the way, you will have the chance to explore natural waterfalls, visit a tea estate, and many other scenic locations.
Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and check into a luxury hotel of your choice.
Set out for a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya in the evening. It is the coldest part of the country as it is 5000 feet above sea level and the temperature here is pleasantly warm during the day and cools at night so of course, you will need warm clothes.
Enjoy a restful night in at your hotel.

Day 3: Visit the Horton Plains in Nuwara Eliya
- Rise early and visit the Horton Plains, Ambewela New Zealand milk factory and strawberry farms.
- Afterwards, return to Nuwara Eliya City.
You may spend the rest of the day in the Golf Club, where you may play a bit of golf.
Stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4: Visit the Bentota Beach
- Travel to Bentota, which is about a 4 and a half-hour drive from Nuwara Eliya.
Enjoy a relaxing day on the golden sands of Bentota Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka. If you’re looking for some serious beach time, including swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving, then Bentota beach would be perfect.
Enjoy your overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 5: Relax in Bentota
- Grab an opportunity to experience and enjoy water sports, such as sailing, boat riding, a ride on a banana boat, swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling, water skiing, jet skiing, mono course, windsurfing, etc.
In the afternoon, experience a riverboat safari on the Madu River, which is approximately a 1-hour long boat journey that includes a fish spa where you will be able to relax even more. If you want to go fishing in the Madu River, it is also possible.
Relax at the beaches and enjoy seafood in the evening.
Have a restful night in Bentota.

Day 6: Head back to Colombo
- Head back up to the capital city of Sri Lanka, Colombo.
Enjoy a city tour and visit the Gangarama temple, one of the most important temples of Sri Lanka, being a mix of modern architecture and cultural essence, including Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian, and Chinese architecture.
Afterwards, proceed to the airport for departure.
