Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kandy to Meemure

   • Meet with your guide at the Queens Hotel entrance and start the journey towards Hunnasgiriya.

   • Reach Hunnasgiriya junction and  board the 4x4 Jeep, to continue the journey.

   • Stop at Loolwatha Tea shop to freshen up, and continue the journey (not included in the cost). 

   • Stop at Corbet's Gap to experience the magnificent view of Knuckles Mountain range, a deep valley between Knuckles Mountain range and a rain shadow area. This area also has a mixture of vegetation types such as wet , dry and montane type.

   • Reach Meemure and head to the camping site. Get ready for participation in some water sports activities.

   • Delicious village lunch will be served at the water sport area. Enjoy your lunch and continue the sports. Return back to the camping site.

   • Take a look around the Meemure village and their living style, culture & history. You may taste pure kithul jaggery and fresh kithul toddy, if you wish to.

   • Make your way back to the camping site. If you wish to have a natural pool bath & fish therapy, ask your guide to lead to the pool next to the camping site.

   Savour the BBQ & bonfire, at night.

2. Day 2: Meemure Village

   • Wake up to a hot tea & yummy breakfast. 

   • Start your journey, with a packed lunch, towards Rassa Gala & Narangamuwa village, through Lakegala mountain. This trip consists of hiking, walking through the jungle and some steep trekking as well. You may witness the beauty of Knuckles mountain range and breathe the fresh air. 

   • Return to the camping site. If you wish to have a natural pool bath & fish therapy, ask your guide, he will lead you to the pool next to the camping site.

   Savour the BBQ & bonfire at night.

3. Day 3: Meemure to Kandy

   • Wake up to a hot tea & yummy breakfast. 

   • Start your journey towards Navarathna waterfall, which is located 3 km into the woods. Take a short walk and enjoy the waterfall.

   • Return to the camping site to enjoy the last lunch at Meemure.

   • Jeep will be ready to transport you back to Hunnasgiriya.

   • Stop at Loolwatha tea shop to freshen up, and continue towards Hunnasgiriya.

   • Transfer to an A/C van to begin the journey towards Kandy.
