2.30 PM: Start your tour with a visit to the Parliament House. The building was designed by the legendary architect Geoffrey Bawa. The Parliament House is a living proof of the active political scenario in Colombo.
Visit Cinnamon Garden- One of the most the affluent neighborhood in Colombo. There used to be a big cinnamon plantation here during the Dutch days. Most of the embassies and cricket grounds are located in this region.
Explore the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple. It is one of the oldest Buddhist temples demonstrating an eclectic mix of Sri Lankan and Thai architecture.
Take a stroll along the promenade at Galle Face Green. This long open space traditionally faced a narrow beach and the sea. It was cleared by the Dutch to give the cannons of Fort a clear line of fire. Today it is the largest open space in Colombo maintained by the Urban Development Authority of Sri Lanka (UDA).
6.30 PM: End your tour with an authentic Ceylonese meal at a local house.
