Itinerary

1. Day 1- Airport - Colombo

   • Meet chauffeur/ guide at the airport, followed by transfer to hotel in Colombo.

   • Spend rest of the day at leisure or shopping + city tour.

   Overnight stay in hotel.

2. Day 2- Colombo - Pinnawala - Kandy

   • After breakfast, proceed towards Kandy.

   • On the way, visit an Elephant Orphanage, established to feed, nurse, and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers.

   • Upon arrival at Kandy, visit the city center as well as the most famous landmark, the lake.

   • Explore the Kandy market, a great bazaar full of sound and exciting trade.

   • Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha.

   • Late in the evening, view the Kandyan cultural performance.

   Overnight stay in hotel.

3. Day 3- Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

   • After breakfast, depart from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya by road and see how it gradually ascends.

   • After ascending 1500 m, arrive at the tea estate and see tea plantations among the white coloured Tea factories.

   • Enjoy a nearby waterfall as well as views of rice fields and vegetable plantations.

   • Later, get an opportunity to visit the tea factory, and taste one of the finest teas in the world.

   • Spend the evening at leisure.

   Overnight stay in hotel.

4. Day 4- Nuwara Eliya

   • After breakfast, go on a leisure drive through Nuwara Eliya, known for its well-maintained colonial architecture.

   • Explore the market hub, and see tea plantation workers going through their daily chores.

   • Visit the botanical gardens, or spend the day walking in the cool climate.

   Overnight stay in hotel.

5. Day 5- Nuwara Eliya - Negombo

   • After breakfast, return to the coastal town of Negombo.

   • Spend rest of the day relaxing at the beach.

   Overnight stay in hotel.

6. Day 6- Negombo - Airport

   • After breakfast, proceed towards Colombo International Airport for departure.

   End of the tour.
