Itinerary

1. Day 1- Colombo - Negombo

   • Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka, transfer to Negombo. 

   • Do the check-in at the hotel.

   • Depending on the time of the day, you have the option to go on a Boat trip in the Negombo Lagoon.

   • Relax, unwind, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

   Dinner and overnight stay at Negombo.

2. Day 2- Negombo - Sigiriya

   • After breakfast, head off to Sigiriya.

   • Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en-route and mingle with the elephants.

   • Arrive at Sigiriya.

   Overnight stay at Sigiriya.

3. Day 3- Sigiriya

   • On day three, visit the 'Lion’s Rock in Sigiriya. (Climbing optional)

   • Go on a tour of a Sigiriya village on a traditional bullock cart.

   • Later in the day, be driven to the neighbouring city of Polonnaruwa to explore the ancient ruins.

   • Return to hotel in Sigiriya for overnight stay.

4. Day 4- Sigiriya - Kandy

   • After breakfast, depart from Sigiriya towards Kandy.

   • On the way, visit the Cave Temple in the nearby city of Dambulla.

   • Upon arrival at Kandy, obtain blessings at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

   • Towards the evening, enjoy a cultural dance show in the city.

   Overnight stay at Kandy.

5. Day 5- Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

   • After a city tour of Kandy in the morning, begin the journey towards the beautiful town of Nuwara Eliya.

   • En route, explore the lush tea plantations and visit the tea factory to learn about the tea manufacturing process.

   • Stop for a visit to the lovely Ramboda Waterfalls.

   • Arrive at Nuwara Eliya for dinner and overnight stay.

6. Day 6- Nuwara Eliya

   • After breakfast, explore the stunning Horton Plains.

   • Stroll through the trail to the ‘World’s End’ point.

   • Later, return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

7. Day 7- Nuwara Eliya - Ella

   • The following morning, enjoy a beautiful train journey from Nanu Oya to the breathtaking town of Ella.

   • Upon arrival, visit the 'Little Adams Peak' and the Ravana Waterfalls.

   Overnight stay at Ella.

8. Day 8- Ella - Yala

   • After breakfast, head towards the South of the island on the way to the city of Yala.

   • Once in Yala, go on an exciting jeep safari at the Yala National Park.

   Overnight stay in Yala.

9. Day 9- Yala - Mirissa

   • In the morning, drive to the neighbouring city of Mirissa.

   • En route, visit the fish market and also observe the traditional stilt fishing.

   • After checking in at the resort in Mirissa, relax on the beach for the rest of the day.

   Overnight stay at Mirissa.

10. Day 10- Mirissa - Bentota

    • Early next morning, go on a whale watching tour in Mirissa.

    • Later, drive towards Galle to explore the Galle Dutch Fort.

    • Our next stop will be in Bentota, which is also on the southern coastline.

    Overnight stay at Bentota.

11. Day 11- Bentota

    • This day will be completely dedicated to relaxing at the beach, where tour participants could get a nice suntan and spend some quality time with their family.

    Overnight stay at Bentota.

12. Day 12- Bentota

    • Spend the full day relaxing at the beach, or indulge in various activities.

    Overnight stay at Bentota.

13. Day 13- Bentota - Airport

    • Depending on the time of departure flight, explore Bentota for few hours before transfer to the airport.

    End of tour.
