Itinerary

1. Day 1: Negombo Airport

   • Pick up from the airport and then drive to Negombo.
   • See the highest fish market and relax yourself in the beach. 

   Overnight stay at hotel.

2. Day 2: Negombo - Kalpitiya

   • Drive straight to Kalpitiya beach, which is world-famous for kite surfing.

   Overnight stay at hotel.

3. Day 3: Kalpitiya - Anuradhapura

   • Discover Anuradhapura, the old capital of Sri Lanka, from 5 B.C. to 1017 A.D. 

   Overnight stay at hotel.

4. Day 4: Anuradhapura - Sigiriya

   • Drive to Sigiriya.
   • Visit the eight world wonder of Sigiriya royal palace.
   • Witness the marvellous landscapes, irrigation technology and aesthetic abilities of ancient Sinhalese culture. 

   Overnight stay at hotel.

5. Day 5: Sigiriya - Kandy

   • Drive to Kandy and visit the most extensive royal botanical garden covered by colourful flower plants, herbal plants, endemic and epidemic plant species.
   • Head to the viewpoint of Kandy. 
   • Enjoy the Kandyan dancing event in the evening between 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. 
   • Visit the temple of the tooth relic. The most sacred molar tooth of the lord buddha is placed in seven golden caskets under a golden ceiling. 
   • Spend the night in Kandy.

6. Day 6: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

   • Travel to Kitulgala and enjoy water rafting. Well-trained and experienced coaches would guide you in rafting with all the safety equipments and safety guards. 
   • Drive to Nuwara Eliya. 

   Overnight stay at hotel.

7. Day 7: Nuwara Eliya - Ella

   • Start at 5.a.m. and drive to Horton Plains, which is the highest plain and 9 km circular walking track and takes more than 3-4 hours.
   • Drive to the hotel in Ella. 
   • Walk for about 30 minutes towards the train track to see the nine arch bridge. 
   • Look at sunset from the Little Adams Peak.

8. Day 8: Ella - Tissamaharama

   • Drive to Tissamaharamaya. 
   • See wonderful Rawana Ella waterfall after passing Ella. 
   • Visit Rawana Ella, the widest fall.
   • Join Yala Safari at 1:30 pm to tour the second largest wildlife reservoir in Sri Lanka. It contains a higher density of leopards population, a national park in the world. 

   Overnight stay at hotel in Tissamaharamaya.

9. Day 9: Tissamaharamaya - Mirissa

   • Drive to Mirissa. 
   • See Hummanaya blow hole and turtle hatchery. 

   Overnight stay in Mirissa.

10. Day 10: Mirissa - Hikkaduwa

    • Go for dolphins and whales watching tour at 6.00 a.m. and spend 4 hours altogether. 
    • Drive to world heritage “Galle Fort”, which was built by the Portuguese and was reconstructed during Dutch period. 

    Overnight stay at Hikkaduwa.

11. Day 11: Hikkaduwa - Bentota

    • See the coral reefs and enjoy scuba diving and snorkelling under the safety supervision of well-experienced professionals. 
    • Enjoy the Madhu riverboat safari and get natural fish therapy for self-relaxing. 

    Overnight stay at Bentota.

12. Day 12: Bentota - Airport

    • Transfer to the airport according to your flight departure time.
