Itinerary

1. Day 1: Airport to Negombo

   • On arrival, be welcomed by our tour representative and transfer to Negombo. 
   • On your way to Negombo, observe the lifestyle of the Sri Lankan people. It might be a small distance, but you will learn a lot from it.
   • Once you reach the hotel, go to the beach and enjoy some fresh air. 
   • Explore the Dutch Fort.
   • Relax the whole day.

2. Day 2: Negombo to Dambulla

   • In the morning, post enjoying yummy breakfast in the hotel at Negombo, proceed to Dambulla, famous for Dambulla Rock Temple which dates back to the 1st century BC. This temple was constructed by King Walagambahu and today stands as a renowned World Heritage Site. 
   • Explore the Rose Quartz Mountain.

3. Day 3: Sigiriya

   • Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
   • Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a World Heritage Site constructed by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) in the 5th century. The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the dense forest. The rock was the innermost behold of the 70-hectare town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens, including the renowned water gardens, ring the base of the rock.
   • Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a protected pocket of the rock approached by a curved stairway. These frescoes are painted with earth pigments on plaster.

4. Day 4: Dambulla to Kandy

   • In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Dambulla.
   • Go to Kandy, the previous capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name "Kandy" conjures a vision of splendour and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions, and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. The Kandy Lake was constructed by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, in 1798.
   • Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and a lapidary.
   • Visit the Temple of Tooth Relic in Kandy. Thereafter witness a cultural show.

5. Day 5: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

   • After a delicious breakfast at the hotel in Kandy, transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda Fall. En-route, visit a tea factory/plantation and some beautiful waterfalls. 
   • Take a walking sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya in the evening.

6. Day 6: Nuwara Eliya to Yala

   • Consume breakfast at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
   • Travel from Nuwara Eliya to Yala via Tissamaharama.
   • Make a safari of the Yala National Park by jeep. Yala is the largest National Park in Sri Lanka, which is the home for wild elephants, wild boars, wild buffaloes, leopards, bears, deer, and crocodiles. Large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds are also found here.
   • Transfer from Yala to Kataragama.

7. Day 7: Yala

   • Delight with breakfast at a hotel in Yala. 
   • The whole day at leisure in Yala.

8. Day 8: Yala to Hikkaduwa

   • After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, go to Hikkaduwa.
   • Hikkaduwa is a famous beach destination with excellent cuisine, good accommodations, a stunning coral reef and white sandy beaches. Water sports and related activities are also a popular feature.

9. Day 9: Hikkaduwa

   • Breakfast at a hotel in Hikkaduwa.
   • Explore the Tsunami Memorial and enjoy a BBQ night.

10. Day 10: Hikkaduwa

    • Breakfast at a hotel in Hikkaduwa. 
    • Explore the Turtle Farm and Madu River.

11. Day 11: Hikkaduwa to Beruwala

    • After breakfast at the hotel in Hikkaduwa, proceed to Beruwala for water skiing, banana boating, fishing & jet skiing. Waterskiing, banana boating and jet skiing can also be enjoyed in the calm water of the Beruwala River, and these fun activities offer excitement for all ages and any skill level.

12. Day 12: Beruwala

    • Today, swim or fight with the waves in the sea. Unwind on the beach, gazing at the spectacular vistas of the sea blending with the multi-hued skies.

13. Day 13: Beruwala to Colombo

    • After having your delicious breakfast at the hotel in Beruwala, transfer to Colombo.
    • Make a city tour of Colombo. Visit the Pettah bazaar, where one can shop for a bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas, where you find the stately homes of the rich, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) - an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China. 

    Overnight stay at Colombo.

14. Day 14: Colombo to Airport

    • Breakfast at the hotel in Colombo. 
    • Transfer from Colombo to Airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
