Description

Itinerary

Day 1: Airport to Negombo
- On arrival, be welcomed by our tour representative and transfer to Negombo.
- On your way to Negombo, observe the lifestyle of the Sri Lankan people. It might be a small distance, but you will learn a lot from it.
- Once you reach the hotel, go to the beach and enjoy some fresh air.
- Relax the whole day.

Day 2: Negombo
- After a delicious breakfast, enjoy yourself in Negombo. Fine sandy beaches of Negombo has been mostly unexplored but less crowded as most tourists use the town for the first or the last night of their stay in Sri Lanka. Fine beach stretches are maintained well by the hotels while some are always busy with fisherman and their equipment. Equipment for water sports such as diving, windsurfing is available at most hotels and private vendors.

Day 3: Negombo to Kandy
- In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
- Go to Kandy, the previous capital of the Sri Lankan Kings, and is a World Heritage Site.
- Visit the Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum, and a lapidary.
- Visit the Temple of Tooth Relic in Kandy.
- Thereafter witness a cultural show.

Day 4: Kandy to Dambulla to Sigiriya
- In the morning, after enjoying a yummy breakfast at the hotel in Kandy, proceed to Dambulla.
- Explore the Dambulla Rock Temple, which dates back to the 1st-century BC.
- Explore the Rose Quartz Mountain.

Day 5: Dambulla to Sigiriya
- Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
- Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a World Heritage Site constructed by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD) in the 5th century.
- Visit the world-renowned frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, which are in a protected pocket of the rock approached by a curved stairway.

Day 6: Dambulla/Sigiriya to Arugam Bay
- Eat breakfast at the hotel.
- After your breakfast, go to Arugam Bay, situated on the Indian Ocean in the dry zone of Sri Lanka's South-East coast. It is a popular surfing and tourist destination.

Day 7: Arugam Bay
- Eat your breakfast at the hotel.
- Start early and enjoy the daily activities in Arugam Bay and Pottuvil. Around 4 o'clock, the first fishing boats go out to sea. It is possible to arrange trips with them.

Day 8: Arugam Bay
- Have breakfast at the hotel in Arugam Bay.
- Enjoy water sports and BBQ night.

Day 9: Arugam Bay to Trincomalee
- Get a delicious breakfast in the hotel at Arugam Bay.
- Begin travelling from Arugam Bay to Trincomalee, which lies on the east coast and is popular for its exclusively mesmerizing deserted beaches. The place also houses divinely holy Koneswaram Temple devoted to Lord Shiva and captivating Swamy Rock famously called lover's leap.
- On reaching, the rest of the day will be free at leisure.

Day 10: Trincomalee to Colombo
- Have your delicious breakfast at the hotel in Trincomalee.
- Transfer to Colombo.
- Make a city tour of Colombo. Colombo, like many capital cities in developing countries, as fast as changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood.

Day 11: Colombo
- After delicious breakfast at the hotel, visit other places of interest in Colombo.
- Stroll through The Pettah bazaar, where one can shop for a bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the rich, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) - an outright gift to Sri Lanka from the People's Republic of China.

Day 12: Final departure
- Consume breakfast at the hotel in Colombo.
- Transfer from Colombo to the airport to board the flight for your onward journey.
