Day 1: Arrival
Meet your guide on arrival.
Transfer from the airport to Colombo.

Day 2: Colombo to Sigiriya
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Colombo.
- Transfer from Colombo to Pinnawala. Established in 1975, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage started with seven orphans. Today some of these orphans enjoy the chance of seeing their grandchildren born in the same place.
- Proceed to Sigiriya.
- Climb Sigiriya rock fortress. The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 meters from the scrub jungle.

Day 3: Sigiriya highlights
- Eat breakfast at the hotel Sigiriya/Dambulla/Kandalama.
- Take a trip to Anuradhapura, home of two World Heritage Sites.
- Visit 'Samadhi' Buddha statue, one of the most famous statues, inaugurating the Buddha in a state of 'Samadhi' or deep meditation.
- Proceed to Isurumuniya rock temple, famous for its rock carvings.

Day 4: Trip to Polonnaruwa
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel Sigiriya/Dambulla/Kandalama.
- Take a trip to Polonnaruwa, which was the 2nd capital city of Sri Lanka, and is a world heritage site.
- See the Royal Palace ruins, the Gal Viharaya, where four wonderful statues of the Buddha in 'Upright', 'Sedentary' and 'Recumbent' postures carved out of rock could be seen.
- Grab a safari of the Minneriya National Park by jeep and marvel at the beauty of nature.
- Transfer from Minneriya to Sigiriya again via Polonnaruwa.

Day 5: Trip to Kandy
- Have breakfast at the hotel in Sigiriya/Dambulla/Kandalama.
- Go to Dambulla.
- Marvel at Dambulla rock temple, which was constructed by king Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and is a World Heritage Site. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha, of which the largest is the gigantic figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and across 14 meters.
- Travel to Matale.
- Visit a spice garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous.
- Witness some good Cookery show.
- Transfer from Matale to Kandy.

Day 6: Explore Kandy and Peradeniya
- Eat breakfast at the hotel in Kandy.
- Transfer to Peradeniya to visit Peradeniya botanical garden, which was first built as an enjoyment garden by a Sinhala king and later expanded by the British.
- Travel to Kandy, a World Heritage Site.
- Visit the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum, Kandy Lake and a lapidary.
- Witness a cultural show.

Day 7: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
- Start your day with breakfast at the hotel in Kandy.
- Trip to the tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is being produced.
- Watch all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory.
- Visit Nuwara Eliya, the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country, producing a major share of the world's best tea. Sri Lanka s highest mountain Pidurutalagala is located here.

Day 8: Nuwara Eliya to Kataragama
- Eat breakfast at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
- Transfer to Kataragama through Bandarawela Tissamaharama road.
- Visit many historical religious sites like that of Buddhism, where Kataragama is the bodhisattva or Buddha to be, or Hinduism where according to history, Skanda, the Hindu God of War, arrived in Sri Lanka and received two gifts from the Sinhalese.
- Transfer from Kataragama.

Day 9: Galle tour
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Kataragama.
- Transfer from Hambantota to Galle, the previous chief port of Ceylon, still well known for hand-made lace.
- Visit the Galle Fort, a World Heritage Site, which was initially constructed by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch in 1663.

Day 10: Bentota highlights
- Enjoy breakfast at a hotel in Bentota /Ahungalla.
- Leisure in Bentota.
- Try Waterskiing, Banana boating, fishing, jet-skiing, visit Beruwala fishing harbour or BBQ night.

Day 11: Travel to Colombo
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Bentota /Ahungalla.
- Transfer from Bentota /Ahungalla to Colombo.
- Proceed for a city tour of Colombo.
- Visit a 100-year-old clock tower and several colonial buildings during the British Period, the Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for a bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the rich, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) and others.
