Itinerary

Visit Nam Ngume Lake
- Get picked up from the hotel in Vientiane at 8:00 AM. Then the Vientiane guide and driver will escort you to your destination to Nam Ngum lake.
- On the way, stop at Hmong village market, 52 km before you go ahead to Vang Sang. Discover numerous bas-reliefs representing Buddha dating back to the 8-12th centuries. These bas-reliefs are sculpted and carved in the rock.
- Continue your journey to Nam Ngume Lake, the largest lake in the Lao PDR, to enjoy great natural sceneries.
- Eat lunch by the lakeside (at your own expense).
- Enjoy a cruise on the lake and the beautiful greenery-filled landscape for an hour.
- In the afternoon, return to Vientiane by road, driving through local villages.
- Drive directly to Ban Nabor, where salt mines can be found. Close to the salt mines, there is a zoo as well.
- Pass by Tha Ngone village bridge, a very peaceful setting.
- Arrive at your hotel and have free time at leisure.
