Itinerary

Day 1: Vientiane to Pakse to Tad Lo
- After breakfast, be picked up and transferred to the bus station.
- On arrival at Pakse, meet your driver and continue by road to Saravan province via Tateng.
- Take a tea break en-route to the Bolaven Plateau area to observe the locals and their way of life making traditional tea and coffee. The scenery around Tad Fan Waterfall is spectacular, with twin waterfalls plummeting into a deep gorge surrounded by flourishing vegetation.
- A trip to the plateau provides a refreshing break from the heat and allows you to observe the cultivation of rich coffee, tea, cardamom, bananas, and other crops en route. This trip gives visitors the chance to venture off the beaten track and discover some of the lesser-known areas of Laos, exploring the wild beauty of this southern region and visiting the villages of Alak, Nge, Katu populated by ethnic minority groups.
- Upon arrival at Tad Lo, check-in and enjoy leisure time to explore Tadlo Waterfall.
Stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Champasak
- After an early breakfast, head out towards the ancient city of Champasak. On the way, make some stops at Laongam weaving centre and take a short detour to visit Pha Suam Waterfall.
- Stroll around the ethnic minority villages of Lao Teung. Have a traditional lunch at the local restaurant.
- Continue to travel by road via Pakse to Champasak.
- Visit the ruins of Wat Phu, the pre-Angkorian temple, one of Southeast Asia's most dramatically situated temples.
- Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and enjoy free time at leisure.
Overnight stay at Say Thong Guest House.

Day 3: Don Khong
- After breakfast, get a chance to enjoy this beautiful little town before saying goodbye.
- Cross the Mekong River by ferry to Ban Muang to continue your journey further down south.
- On the way, make your way to Kietngong village for an elephant riding experience to Phou Asa, another archaeological site.
- Make a stop at the famous waterfalls of Khonephapheng, the largest waterfall in South East Asia, Known as Niagara of the east, before going to Don Khong. It is the largest island in the sub-region of the Mekong River, known as the 4000 islands, one of the most scenic areas in Laos.
Stay overnight at Kongmany Hotel.

Day 4: Khong Island
- After breakfast, explore the hidden gems of Kong island by bike.
- To discover the local life, visit Vat Chomthong and Vat Kangkhong and drive along the Mekong riverside.
- Head to the Southern loop and turn around the island to see how the local process bar of sugar, get a sample of fresh sugar juice.
- Drive on the way to the tip of Khong island and get to see the hometown of the former president of Laos, Khamtay Siphandone
Arrive back at your hotel in the early afternoon.
Spend your free time however you like.

Day 5: Ban Khone
- Travel by boat to Khone and Det Island in the morning.
- Upon arrival to the local village of Ban Khone, explore the small island by local type of Tuktuk, make a stop at the bridge that links between Khone and Det island for a photo opportunity.
- See an array of relics from the French colonial era and retrace the old colonial past, including French colonial buildings and the remnants of the first Lao railway with its locomotive.
- Visit the Liphi waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls marking the end of the Lao border to Cambodia.
Return to Khong Island.

Day 6: Nakasang to Pakse
Enjoy a cruise to Nakasang.
Get picked up by van from Nakasang and continue driving to Pakse.
Stay overnight in Pakse.

Day 7: Departure
- Drive to the Vientiane airport after breakfast.
