Visit the Angkor Temple
- Meet the tour guide at 8:30 a.m., who will pick you up from your hotel and start the day tour.
- Visit the UNESCO-declared World Heritage Site starting from the south gate of Angkor Thom. It was the last capital city of the Khmer empire and the world's largest capital city, with about 1 million people in the 12th century.
- Continue to visit Bayon temple, a famous temple with the four smiling faces on each tower, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephant and the Terrace of the Leper king.
- See the jungle temple, Ta Nei and Ta Prohm, covered by the trees, and you will feel like you are rediscovering the Angkor temple, just as Henri Mahout rediscovered the temples in the jungle by accident in 1860 AD. Stop for lunch in the local restaurant to test the real, local Cambodian food or Khmer food.
- Head to the largest temple in the world, Angkor Wat, one of the world's wonders. Angkor Wat is the national symbol of Cambodia. You will see the towers appear on the national flag of Cambodia. Spend time in the temple to explore around with the very good preserved carving on the sandstone wall of the temple.
- Witness the sunset at Phnom Bakheng Temple.
