The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Angkor Wat Sunset Tour

Arrive at Siem Reap International Airport. Meet your English-speaking local guide or driver and transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax for a while.
Board a private bus or car for a sightseeing tour of famous tourist sites such as Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King, and learn about the historical evolution of the Khmer Kingdom and the history of these temples.
Take a short break to enjoy a hearty lunch.
After lunch, proceed to visit Angkor Wat, the largest religious structure in the world. Watch the gorgeous sunset from atop the temple.
Transfer back to your hotel in Siem Reap for an overnight stay.

Day 02

Banteay Srei and Kbal Spean Trek

Visit the famous Banteay Srei temple, adorned with amazingly intricate sculptures carved out of pink sandstone.
Embark on a short trek to Kbal Spean, the river of a thousand lingas, known for the ancient carvings on its riverbed. Enjoy the scenic beauty and peace of the surrounding jungle.
On the way back, depending on time, you may also get to see more temples such as Ta Prohm.
Transfer back for an overnight stay at your hotel in Siem Reap.
