Morning: (start the tour by 8:00 AM): Visit the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire of Koh Ker a 10th-century temple complex in the north Cambodian jungle which is now heavily forested.
Afternoon: Visit Beng Mealea Temple built in the 12th century and which is one of the most mysterious temples at Angkor. At the Beng Mealea Temple, trees have grown out of the towers and vines entangle columns. Lintels and other building blocks lay around in a tumble and require visitors to climb up and down as they approach the completely collapsed central towers.
