The itinerary

Day 01

Tuol Sleng Museum and Choeung Ek Memorial Visit

You will be picked up from the lobby of your hotel at 8:00 AM or 2:00 PM to begin the program.
Start with a visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Tuol Sleng was once a high school before the Khmer Rouge turned it into a centre for interrogation, torture, and death. Today, it serves as a museum that reminds visitors of the terrible atrocities that took place in Cambodia. Around 17,000 people passed through the gates of this prison, and only seven survived to tell the tale.
Next, continue to Choeung Ek. Prisoners from Tuol Sleng followed this same route to their fate. Once an old Chinese cemetery, Choeung Ek was transformed into an extermination camp for political prisoners. The remains of 8,985 people were exhumed from mass graves and are now kept in a memorial stupa here. Despite the horrors of the past, it is now a peaceful and tranquil place to reflect on the tragic events that engulfed Cambodia and its people.
Later, return to the drop-off location to conclude the tour.
