Battambang, Phnom Banan & Phnom Sampeou
Travel to Battambang city with your Siem Reap tour guide and visit the local community and rice fields on your way to the city.
Go to the mountain-top of Phnom Banan, which is an 11th-century Angkorian ruin consisting of 5 temple structures. At the base of the mountain, find an active pagoda, which is more than 150 years old.
Proceed to experience the Bamboo train (Norrie) ride to see the surrounding countryside.
Savour an authentic lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit Phnom Sampeou limestone mountain with Wat Sampeou and Killing caves- a Khmer Rouge execution site.
Go to the Bat cave to witness the Asian wrinkle-lipped bats coming out of the cave before going for dinner.
