Itinerary

Day 1- Experience the Phare Circus
Pick-up from the airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Head out for the welcome dinner comprising Khmer cuisine.
Proceed to Phare Circus where their shows will tell stories of Cambodian history through a mix of music, dance and acrobats. You can also meet the talented performers.

Day 2- Cycle the Angkor temples
Go for a morning temple exploration at the most illustrious temple with fewer crowds.
Visit Ta Prohm, which is one of the most picturesque and memorable temples of the Angkor complex. The movie 'Tomb Raider' was shot here.
Head to the ancient city of Angkor Thom and enter the city through the ancient gate.
Continue to Bayon Temple found in the centre of the city. See the enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire.
Go to The Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King and see their intricate bas-reliefs.
Stop at the local restaurant to enjoy tasteful Cambodian dishes.
Bike to the gem of the Angkor complex- Angkor Wat.
Return to the hotel.

Day 3- Explore the countryside and Angkor Silk Farm
Go to the downtown to see the wonderful views of Siem Reap countryside and proceed through paddy fields and stunning scenery to explore the everyday life of Cambodians.
Visit the rice fields, local market, mushroom farm, rice wine distillation, lotus farms and village handicraft centre.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Return to the town and take a break at your hotel before the transfer to Angkor Silk Farm where you can see the whole silk creation process from growing the food for the silkworms, breeding the worms, silk extraction, spinning and refinement, traditional dyeing to looming. Angkor Silk Farm is part of the Artisans Angkor, which is a not-for-profit organization set up to revive Cambodia’s artistic pursuits and provide employment opportunities in poor rural areas.

Day 4- Floating village of Kompong Khleang and Kayaking
Drive out of town on a newly paved road to the most remote area of Kompong Khleang.
Walk around the area to explore the housing style. The houses are built on stilts, adapted to withstand flooding experienced during the rainy season.
Go kayaking down the river and discover the sunken fields and floating forests.

Day 5- Departure
Transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) for your onward flight.
