Itinerary

1. Day 1: Angkor Wat, Bayon & Ta Prohm Temples Tour

   • Pick-up from the hotel at 8 AM by the local tour guide. 

   • Visit the Angkor Wat Temple, the largest religious structure in the world by land area, measuring 162.6 hectares. The temple was built by King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yaśodharapura, the capital of the Khmer Empire, as the state temple for the empire.

   • Witness the Great Wall of the Khmer empire.

   • Explore the Bayon Temple, a richly decorated Khmer Buddhist and earlier Hindu temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th or early 13th century as the state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman's capital, Angkor Thom.

   • Cross the enticing monkey forest.

   • Stop by the Victory Gate, one of the most famous sites at the ruins, the former capital of the Khmer Empire. 

   • Continue to the Tanei Jungle Temple, a late 12th Century stone temple located in Angkor, Cambodia. Built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII, it is located near the northwest corner of the East Baray, a large holy reservoir. It was dedicated to the Buddha.

   • Witness the mesmerising Ta Prohm Temples popularly known as the 'Giant Roots Temple'.

   • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Explore the Grand City of Angkor

   • Visit the Killing Field in Angkor.

   • Explore the Ancient University of Preah Khan Temple.

   • Continue to the ancient hospital of Neak Pean.

   • Stop by the West Mebon Temple.

   • Witness a beautiful sunset at the Preah Rup Temple.

   • Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
