Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

   • Embark on an early adventure as we depart Nairobi at 0600hrs, journeying towards the awe-inspiring Great Rift Valley. Our destination: the renowned Lake Nakuru National Park. 
   • Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the park's splendour with an exhilarating game drive punctuated by a serene lunch break at the lodge nestled within the park's confines. Lake Nakuru, a shallow Soda Lake, boasts a vibrant avian population, including the iconic flamingos. Ornithologists will delight in the park's diverse bird species, totalling over 400. 
   • Step out of the vehicle at the lake shore for an up-close encounter with these magnificent birds. Nearby cliffs offer additional sightings, from baboons to birds of prey. Spanning 180 sq km, the national park is a sanctuary for various wildlife, from warthogs and waterbucks to buffaloes and reedbucks. Look out for elusive leopards and the park's famous residents; the white and black rhinos introduced several years ago. 

   Conclude the day with a delectable dinner and a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

2. Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

   • Savour a delightful breakfast at the hotel before bidding farewell to Lake Nakuru. Our journey back to Nairobi takes us through Lake Naivasha, where an enchanting boat ride awaits on its freshwater expanse.
   • In the afternoon, we arrive back in Nairobi, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport. This marks the end of our memorable safari adventure.
