Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Get excited to meet our welcoming, professional driver guide, who will brief you through the itinerary, after which he will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- You will have a stop-over at the equator line in Kayabwe along your journey to experience the equator line while you take photographs at the monument.
- You will proceed to have your lunch in Mbarara and later embark on your drive, arriving in the late afternoon to check in at a lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive – Launch cruise
- Having had your breakfast, meet your driver guide and hit Queen Elizabeth National Park’s savannah plains for game viewing.
- You will spot a variety of animals for example the early grazers like buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, bushbucks, topis, waterbucks, predators such as lions, hyenas, leopards as well as nocturnals such as hippopotamuses.
- Return to the lodge for lunch before you proceed for the Kazinga boat cruise.
- On your 2 to 3 hours’ cruise, you will have an up close view of aquatic life such as hippopotamuses, crocodiles, array of bird species at the bay as well as various land mammals quench their thirst and wallow along the Kazinga shores. Get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable N/P via Ishasha
- Wakeup to grab yourself a cup of coffee, check-out to meet your driver guide and be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to the south through the Ishasha sector where you will see the tree climbing lions hang and relax up in tree brunches.
- This is a 5 to 6 hours’ drive via Kabale-Kisoro road arriving in the afternoon to check-in at your reserved lodge and have lunch.
- You will loosen up after your lunch as you wait to have dinner and an overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla trek – Transfer to Mgahinga N/P
- Wake-up to a hefty breakfast and immediately be driven with packed lunch to the park headquarters to undergo a briefing about the gorilla trekking dos and don’ts.
- Ranger guides will lead into Bwindi’s forests to embark on the gorillas’ search with machetes to clear way as you will also be given walking sticks for support as you move through rugged and uneven trails.
- Trekking down a gorilla family may last for 1 to 6 hours depending on its location as you spot a variety of birds and other mammals.
- You will enjoy an hour in their presence after you have located the gorilla family and later descend back to your lodge for lunch.
- After lunch, you will be driven further southwards to Mgahinga National Park arriving to check-in at a lodge for your dinner and an overnight.

Day 5: Gorilla trek monkey trek – Batwa trail experience
- Have a scrumptious breakfast and immediately shift to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules.
- You will be led by the ranger guides to go trekking the only gorilla family in Mgahinga National Park while you encounter various birds and primates like blue monkeys, golden monkeys, red-tailed and many more.
- Spend an hour in their presence while you take shots of them go by their routine activities.
- Return to the lodge for lunch after which you will proceed for the Batwa cultural trail.
- This cultural trail will lead you through the forests they lived in ancient times while you try out their cultural practices such as use of bow and arrow, spear and many more.
- Visit their sacred place known as the Garama caves where you will enjoy their cultural performances before you return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 6: Golden Monkey Trek – Lake Bunyonyi
- This beautiful day starts with breakfast before returning to the park headquarters for a briefing about the golden monkey trekking dos and don’ts.
- You will be led by the rangers for a hike to the mount slopes dominated by bamboo forests to locate a troop of the habituated golden monkeys.
- Upon you have located a troop, you will spend an hour amidst them as you closely watch over them go by their daily duties.
- Return back to the lodge for an early lunch and immediately set off to Lake Bunyonyi to have a boat cruise as you make visits to its islands while you capture its scenic beauty and the neighboring areas.
- Retire off this deep lake and proceed to check-in at your reserved lodge to have dinner and an overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Kampala and Departure
- Your last safari day starts with breakfast, check out and hit the road for your 8 to 9 hours’ drive via Kabale-Mbarara and Mbarara-Masaka roads with a lunch en-route in Mbarara town.
- Proceeding with your journey, endeavor once again to make a stopover at the equator line in Kayabwe as you will also have the opportunity to shop some souvenirs to take back home.
- Arrival will be in the late afternoon to be either be dropped off at a hotel of your choice for relaxation or at the airport to catch your flight.
