Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi - Tsavo West National Park

   Depart by road, driving east of Nairobi across the Athi plains to Tsavo West National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, check in at a luxury-tented camp or lodge, and enjoy an optional afternoon or evening game drive. Tsavo West National Park is the most visited section in Tsavo National Park, offering attractions beyond its wildlife. The highlight is the famous Mzima Springs, where over 200 million liters of crystal-clear water flow from porous volcanic rocks. The water is believed to originate from Chyulu Hills via an underground river and serves as the water supply for Mombasa City, 250 km south of the location.

   Accommodation: Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, Severin Safari Camp, or similar. These luxury facilities are located inside Tsavo West National Park.

   Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, Severin Safari Camp, or similar.

2. Day 2: Tsavo West National Park – Full Day Exploring the Park

   After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. Explore interesting places such as the Roaring Rocks, named for the wind that rushes through them, offering wonderful views over Tsavo from a 98-meter rock face. Similar views can be experienced from the poachers' lookout. Visit the volcanic Chaimu Crater, less than 200 years old and composed of black coke, which can be climbed if you're interested. Don't miss Mzima Springs, one of Tsavo's most popular wildlife attractions due to its resident populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles.

3. Day 3: Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park

   After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, located 70 km west. Arrive and check-in at your accommodation, then enjoy a leisurely day.

   Amboseli National Park is situated directly south of Nairobi and consists mostly of a dry, ancient lake bed and fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland. To the south lies Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, which can be seen clearly in good weather conditions. The swamps around Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai, and Enkongo Narok feature lush vegetation with yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms. Expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos.

4. Day 4: Game Viewing in Amboseli National Park – Full-Day Exploration of the Park

   Spend the entire day in Amboseli National Park with morning and evening game drives. Amboseli is situated on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, with its peak across the border in Tanzania. Witness the breathtaking sight of Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early morning. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds, and you'll also encounter buffalos, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, and various plains animals and birds.

   Meal & Drinks: All meals included. Drinking water. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or similar.

5. Day 5: Amboseli - Nairobi

   Begin the day with an early morning game drive (6:00 am to 9:00 am), then return to the lodge for breakfast. Check out from the lodge and drive back to Nairobi. Drop off at the airport or a hotel in Nairobi.
