Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival and City Tour

   • Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by our driver and transferred to your city hotel for check-in. 
   • In the afternoon, embark on a guided city tour, including a visit to the Nairobi National Museum, which highlights Kenya’s rich heritage through Culture, Nature, History, and Contemporary Art. 
   • Return to your hotel for an overnight stay, preparing for the adventure ahead.

2. Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu

   • After breakfast, depart from your hotel and journey to Samburu National Reserve, with a lunch stop along the way. 
   • Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, and enjoy an evening game drive. 
   • Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

3. Day 3: Full-Day Exploration in Samburu

   • Start your day with a sunrise game drive after breakfast. 
   • Samburu offers a unique opportunity to spot the “Special Five”—the gerenuk, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, and reticulated giraffe—all within the park’s captivating landscape. 
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue the game drive, soaking in the breathtaking sunset. 
   • Optional: Visit the Samburu community at an extra cost to experience their rich culture. 
   • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4: Samburu to Lake Nakuru

   • After breakfast, set out for Lake Nakuru National Reserve in the Rift Valley. 
   • Along the way, enjoy lunch and arrive in the evening for a game drive en route to your lodge. 
   • Lake Nakuru is renowned for its birdlife and diverse wildlife. 
   • Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

5. Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

   • Begin your day with breakfast, followed by a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru. 
   • Later, proceed to Lake Naivasha, stopping at Hell’s Gate National Park for optional activities such as gorge walks, cycling, or visiting Crescent Island (at an extra cost). 
   • Expect to see various bird species and wildlife. 
   • Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

6. Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

   • After breakfast, head back to Hell’s Gate National Park for a game drive. 
   • Highlights include the park’s volcanic features, such as Olkaria and Hobley’s extinct volcanoes, Fischer’s Tower, Central Tower, and the hot springs in the gorge. 
   • Continue your journey to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve with a picnic lunch en route. 
   • Arrive in the evening and proceed on an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

7. Day 7: Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

   • Begin your day with a morning game drive, exploring the vast savannah teeming with wildlife. 
   • Masai Mara is famous for the annual wildebeest migration, providing an unforgettable experience. 
   • Witness wildlife in action as they begin their day. 
   • After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive. 

   Optional: Visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture and enjoy traditional dances (at an extra cost). Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

8. Day 8: Masai Mara to Nairobi

   • Enjoy a pre-morning game drive, followed by a hearty breakfast at the lodge. 
   • Check out and leave Masai Mara, traveling back to Nairobi. 
   • Upon arrival, you will either be dropped off at your city hotel or transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
