Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

   • You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi by our driver guide to transfer you to Wilson Airport for a flight to Amboseli National Park (Air Kenya Airlines) departing Wilson airport at 07:30hrs, arriving at Amboseli airstrip at 08:05hrs, met at the airstrip by the driver/guide who will transfer you en-route game drive to the Lodge for check-in and lunch.
   • Afternoon game drive in the park. (Amboseli sits on the lower slopes of mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, whose peak lies across the border in Tanzania. It is quite an experience to see Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early morning. Animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain will thrill the photography enthusiast. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its huge elephant herds. You will also see buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and other plain animals in their native juggle residence.

2. Day 2: Full day in Amboseli National Park

   • Early morning game drive in 4×4 lodge vehicle(s) before breakfast. Here, we are expecting to see the big cats, which are mostly seen. Return to the lodge for breakfast.

   Or

   • The morning game drive for those who wish starts at 10:00hrs until midday. An afternoon game drive follows, and dinner and overnight stay at Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli.

3. Day 3: Flight from Amboseli to Samburu National Reserve

   • After breakfast, transfer to Amboseli airstrip for your flight to Samburu National Reserve via Wilson Airport in Nairobi, departing at 08:20hrs and arriving at Wilson Airport at 09:00hrs. Then transfer to the flight departing Wilson for Samburu at 09:15hrs / 11:00hrs, arriving at Samburu airstrip at 10:30hrs / 12:30hrs, to be met by your driver /guide En-route game drive to the camp.

   Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Camp.

4. Day 4: Full day in Samburu National Reserve

   • Early breakfast at the Lodge. The Samburu National Reserve is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River; on the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve in Northern Kenya. It is 350 kilometres away from Nairobi and ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230m above sea level. The reserve is rich in wildlife with abundant rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx (also called Samburu Special Five).
   • You will have an excellent chance to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants. Spectacular rocky outcrops, wonderful Domas palms and the shaded Ewaso Nyiro River, the life source for the Samburu reserve, make this reserve scenic.

5. Day 5: Flight from Samburu to Maasai Mara

   • After breakfast, transfer to Samburu airstrip for a flight to Masai Mara, departing Samburu at 08:30hrs and Maasai Mara at 10:15hrs, to be met by the Lodge driver/guide, who will transfer you with an en-route game drive to the lodge for lunch. 
   • An afternoon game drive follows later, and dinner and overnight at Elewana Sand River Camp

6. Day 6: Full day in Maasai Mara

   • There are two game drives per day: one early morning game drive before breakfast from 06:00 to 08:30 and the other from 15:30 to 18:30.

7. Day 7: Full day in Maasai Mara

   • There are two game drives per day: one early morning game drive before breakfast from 06:00 to 08:30 and the other from 15:30 to 18:30.

8. Day 8: Flight from Maasai Mara to Nairobi

   • After breakfast, check out of the camp and transfer to Mara Airstrip for your flight to Wilson Airport, to be met by your driver/guide, who will transfer you to Carnivore Restaurant/a city restaurant for lunch and after lunch, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for a flight to the next destination or transfer to a city hotel for overnight.
