Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara Adventure

   • At 8 am, you will be picked up from your hotel within the city centre/Westland area and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the Rift Valley.
   • Arrive at the camp in time for lunch. Check-in and have lunch.
   • In the evening at 4:00 pm, depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats are extremely high. The drive lasts for 2 hours and ends at 6:00 pm.
   • Return back to the camp/lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting.

   Dinner and overnight at the tented camp: Miti Mingi Eco Camp/similar.

2. Day 2: Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara

   • Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park.
   • On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos, and Nile crocodile.
   • Thereafter, go for a picnic lunch in the park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.
   • It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

3. Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nakuru Exploration

   • Early morning breakfast then check out for your drive to Nakuru.  
   • Later dinner and overnight at Lanet matfam.

4. Day 4: Nakuru to Amboseli National Park Journey

   • Breakfast, check out, and go for a game drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. It's a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos.
   • Later, drive to Amboseli National Park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. You will have lunch on the way.
   • Upon arrival, have an en-route game drive in the park.

   Later, check in at AA Lodge Amboseli/similar for dinner and overnight.

5. Day 5: Exploring Amboseli National Park

   • Morning breakfast and start the game drive around the park. Visit the observation point overlooking the whole park for a bird's-eye view angle.
   • Continue with the game drives as you look for the predators, i.e., the lions and cheetahs. Amboseli is rich with elephant species which are in many herds, and you can also view the great mountain of Kilimanjaro slopes and the whole view.
   • Lunch and afternoon rest in the pool.
   • In the evening, start the game drive as you look for the predators since they are more active at this time.

   Dinner and overnight at AA Amboseli/similar.

6. Day 6: Amboseli to Nairobi Departure

   • Early morning breakfast, Check out.
   • Then, you will have a last-day morning game drive, with higher chances of seeing the predators, i.e., leopard.
   • Start your drive back to Nairobi and be dropped off at the hotel or airport. End of safari.
   • You will be dropped off at your hotel within Nairobi or the airport.
