Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi - Check-in at Palacina Resident and Suites

   • Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will pick you up and drive you to the hotel for check-in and rest at Palacina Resident and Suites.
   • Bed and breakfast and Overnight Palacina Resident and Suites, booked on bed and breakfast.

   Dinner can be taken from the hotel restaurant depending on what you will eat from the hotel menu (own expense).

2. Day 2: Afternoon Game Drive in Nairobi National Park

   • Morning relaxations at the hotel premises.
   • Later at 2:00 pm to the Nairobi National Park through the main gate for a 3-hour game drive.
   • Your guide will be aiming to show you as much variety of animals as possible. If you’re lucky, you may spot the rhinos and lions getting ready for the day.

3. Day 3: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

   • The driver will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Wilson Airport to catch your flight to Amboseli National Park departing at 7:30 am and arriving at 8:30 am.
   • Upon arrival, your driver will be waiting for you at the airstrip to drive you to Oltukai Lodge for check-in and lunch.
   • Have lunch and a short rest.
   • Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. It is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains.

4. Day 4: Full Day Exploration of Amboseli National Park

   • Early morning game drives, later return back to the lodge for breakfast.
   • After breakfast, spend the full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro.
   • Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

5. Day 5: Transfer to Masai Mara

   • The driver will pick you up from the Lodge and drive you to Amboseli Airstrip to catch your flight to Masai Mara departing at 9:15 am and arriving at 10:30 am.
   • Upon arrival at the Airstrip, our driver will pick you up and drive you to the camp for check-in and lunch.
   • After lunch, depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve, which lasts for 2 hours.
   • Return back to the camp for a sumptuous dinner ending with a good time for resting at the camp.

6. Day 6: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve

   • Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos, and Nile crocodile.
   • Thereafter, go for a picnic lunch in the park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.
   • It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures.

7. Day 7: Another Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara Reserve

   • Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park.

8. Day 8: Transfer to Serengeti via Isebania Border - Flight to Tanzania

   • After breakfast at 6:00 am, check out and transfer to the Airstrip to catch your flight to Serengeti. Departing from Mara Serena Airstrip at 8:15 AM and arriving at Tarime Airstrip at 10:10 AM. Departing Tarime at 10:45 AM arriving at Seronera at 12:10 noon.
   • The flight goes to Migori; from Migori, you will be transferred to Tarime. Then fly from Tarime where you do a yellow fever check and as well get your visa at the custom proceed to Serengeti.
   • Upon arrival, Meet your Tanzanian guide meet and greet at the Airstrip for a short drive into the heart of Serengeti National Park to Ole Serai Luxury Camp.

9. Day 9: Full Day Serengeti Safari Experience

   • Breakfast at 7 a.m. Full-day game drive in Serengeti with a picnic lunch at 1 p.m.
   • Return to the camp for dinner at Ole Serai Luxury Camp.

10. Day 10: Serengeti to Ngorongoro - Museum Visit

    • Depart Serengeti at 7 a.m. for a Covid test to enable us to cross back to Kenya. Depart Serengeti with a Game drive en route to Ngorongoro area which extends to the National Park. Enjoy a picnic lunch.
    • Later, proceed and pass through the Olduvai Gorge, in northern Tanzania. Often called the cradle of mankind, this area is internationally recognized for Louis and Mary Leakey’s famous discoveries of early humans and magnificent antiquities documenting the evolutionary history of our stone tool-using ancestors over the last two million years. Research at Olduvai began almost a century ago, producing an unparalleled wealth of archaeological and paleontological data for the study of some key phases of early human evolution. Museum viewing.
    • Proceed to our hotel for check-in.

11. Day 11: Full Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater

    • Ngorongoro Crater Safari will start with breakfast and packed lunch or hot lunch since you will be inside. We descend down to the crater for the most wonderful moments of the park. This is remarkable in that the crater hosts a wide pride of lions; you will see them hunt live. Take almost the whole day down as you see much more action of nature happening there. Have a break for lunch as the eye competes with the mouth seeing much interesting things happening in front of you.
    • Later ascend to your hotel for an overnight.

12. Day 12: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara to Arusha

    • Early morning half-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park that begins at 7 a.m.
    • Manyara National Park is a sanctuary for hippo, giraffe, impala, and zebra, and its lake a magnet for birdlife, including sizeable flocks of pink flamingos. Mahogany and sausage trees are alive with blue and vervet monkeys; elephants feed on fallen fruit, and bushbuck, baboons, and leopard make their homes in the forest.
    • It is commonly said that Lake Manyara is one of the best parks in Africa for birdwatchers. If you are a bird-watching enthusiast, then going on a Lake Manyara safari is a must on your Tanzania safari program.
    • Depart for Manyara to Arusha hotel.

    Accommodation for this day is Arusha Coffee Lodge, booked on Half Board.

13. Day 13: Transfer to Zanzibar

    • Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Thereafter, transfer to Arusha Airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar that departs at 13:00 pm arriving in Zanzibar at 14:35 pm via Regional Air Services LTD.
    • Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you are picked up and transferred to your hotel.
    • Half Board includes Breakfast and Dinner at Gold Zanzibar Beach House and Spa. (Lunch from the hotel Menu depending on where you will be during the day) - Deluxe Ocean View.

14. Day 14: Relaxation in Zanzibar

    • Full day relaxing at the hotel or enjoying resort facilities.
    • Half Board includes Breakfast and Dinner at Gold Zanzibar Beach House and Spa. (Lunch from the hotel Menu depending on where you will be during the day) - Deluxe Ocean View.

15. Day 15: More Relaxation in Zanzibar

    • Full day relaxing at the hotel or enjoying resort facilities.
    • Half Board includes Breakfast and Dinner at Gold Zanzibar Beach House and Spa. 
    • (Lunch from the hotel Menu depending on where you will be during the day)- Deluxe Ocean View.

16. Day 16: Flight back to Nairobi

    • Breakfast at the hotel and thereafter transfer to the Zanzibar airport for your flight back to Nairobi. Departing at 17:15 pm arriving in Nairobi at 18:55 pm. (No earlier flights so you will have late check-out)
    • Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up and take you to Palacina Hotel and Suites, booked on bed and breakfast. Dinner can be taken from the hotel restaurant depending on what you will eat from the hotel Menu. (Own expense)
