Itinerary

1. A day in Nairobi.

   • Meet the tour guide at 6:30 am and begin the tour.
   • Make the first stop at one of the most unique national parks in the world, where you can enjoy game drives, guided walks and picnics. 
   • Within minutes of your hotel and the city of Nairobi, you’ll be quickly transported to a scene of animals roaming in the wild – Nairobi National Park. This is just the first step in a day filled with unexpected wonders. 
   • Explore Nairobi National Park: So close to the city, its skyscrapers fill the horizon, and you’ll find yourself on a broad savannah, home to lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, giraffes and many more. These are the wildlands of Nairobi National Park, Kenya’s first reserve. 
   • On your game drives here, just 10 km (6 mi) south of the city, you’ll be on the watch for hyena, impala, ostrich and over 400 species of birds. Most incredible, the park hosts zebra and wildebeest moving through this wild space in an epic great migration.
   • Proceed to Nairobi's vibrant culture at the Maasai Market, a colourful marketplace where Maasai artisans sell traditional crafts, jewellery, and clothing. Bargain with vendors and pick up authentic Kenyan treasures to remember your trip.
   • Now it’s your break; have it at a local restaurant.
   • Embark on your journey to Giraffe Center: The tour continues to thrill at this refuge for the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, where you can climb the high platform and try your hand at feeding one of the towering creatures. The grounds include an Information Centre and Nature Trail where you can see warthogs, birds and more. The Centre is also a favourite of Kenya’s schoolchildren, and you will surely spot plenty of them.
   • End the day at approximately 5.30 pm as you return to your hotel.
