Itinerary

Day 1- Nairobi to Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site
- Departure from Nairobi: Start your journey with a scenic hour-and-a-half drive along the Nairobi-Magadi Road to the renowned Olorgesailie Prehistoric Site.
- Site Tour: Discover the “Factory of Stone Tools” on a guided tour of the museum and excavated sites where ancient hand axes and artifacts were uncovered.
- Camp Setup & Evening: Settle into your campsite under the stars and enjoy an evening of stories and relaxation. (Dinner provided)
Day 2- Hiking, Birdwatching, and Lake Magadi Visit
- Morning Hike Up Mt. Olorgesailie: Begin the day with a guided trek up Mt. Olorgesailie for stunning panoramic views and a bit of adventure.
- Birdwatching & Photography: After descending, explore the area’s rich birdlife and capture photographs of the striking landscapes.
- Afternoon at Lake Magadi: Travel to Lake Magadi for a natural hot springs experience. Soak in the therapeutic hot baths while taking in the scenic surroundings.
- Evening: Return to your campsite, relax, and enjoy a bonfire. (Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided)
Day 3- Nature Walks, Reflections, and Departure
- Nature Walk & Reflection: Start with a serene nature walk around Olorgesailie, appreciating the unique flora and fauna and reflecting on early human history.
- Optional Add-On Excursions: Extend your adventure with optional excursions to nearby Mt. Suswa or Longonot for additional hiking and exploration.
