Kenyatta International Conference Centre
- The Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) hosts international functions, exhibitions, events, and music. Built-in 1973 by Norwegian architects, the KICC rooftop offers panoramic views of Nairobi, including the Ngong Hills.

Railway Museum
- At the Railway Museum, visitors can see the Class 59 Garratt locomotive engine, unique to Kenya. Learn about the history of Nairobi and the construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway, and view the cabin used in the film Out of Africa (by author Karen Blixen). The railway was built by Indians brought from Karachi, many of whom were killed by the man-eating lions of Tsavo in 1902.

National Archives
- Explore the Murumbi Gallery, which houses collections of Pan-African art. The National Archives also features historical government files and a statue of Tom Mboya, an assassinated government minister. Visitors can see the location of the assassination.

Basilica
- The Basilica is Nairobi's second oldest church. Built in 1904 by British architects, it can accommodate up to 5,000 congregants.

Jamia Mosque
- The Jamia Mosque, the largest and oldest mosque in Nairobi, was built in 1902 by Sheik Abdullah. The mosque was constructed by the British and has three domes for 3,000 men and two minarets for 2,000 women.

7th Memorial Park (Bomb Blast)
- This park commemorates the Kenyan victims of the American embassy bombing in Nairobi. It includes a museum where visitors can watch a 30-minute video about the embassy before and after the bombing. The park also displays photos and names of those who perished, both Kenyans and Americans.

Jevanjee Gardens
- Donated by Indian merchant Jevanjee Mulla in 1906, Jevanjee Gardens is an open-air park in the city center. It is a popular spot for relaxation during lunch hours and weekends.

City Market
- Built in 1904 by Jevanjee Mulla, City Market is one of the oldest markets in Nairobi. It offers a range of goods, including artworks, paintings, jewellery, antiques, Masai spears and shields, as well as fish, flowers, and vegetables. It was constructed on the railway line known as Loita at the time.

Kimathi Statue
- The Kimathi Statue honours the Mau Mau leader who fought against British colonial rule. He was captured and killed by the British, allegedly betrayed by the first president, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta.
