Description
Embark on a thrilling 3-day adventure through Meru National Park. It is located in the east of Meru, 350 km from Nairobi. Covering an area of 870 km, it is one of the best-known national parks in Kenya. It is wild and beautiful, straddling the equator and bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain-fed streams, making it a green paradise compared to the dry savannah of Kenya's other parks. It boasts diverse scenery from woodlands to vast open plains, meandering riverbanks, a landscape dotted by kopjes, and rich volcanic soil deposits.
Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration of Meru
- Pick up at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
- Meet with Hidaya Africa tour guide
- Drive through Nairobi to Meru and have a stopover for tea plantation photography
- Check-in at Elsa's Kopje Lodge for freshening up and relaxation
- Afternoon game drive experiencing the diversity of Meru National Park in search of wild animal
Dinner and overnight at Elsa's Kopje Lodge

Day 2: Full-Day Safari Adventure in Meru National Park
- Early morning breakfast
- Leave for a full game drive in the park with a packed lunch
- Explore the park in search of popular residents like the zebra, reticulated giraffe, and hippos with a view of Mt Kenya
- Make a stop for lunch en route
- Later return to Elsa's kopje lodge
