I am a native to Hakodate, having lived since 2003 after working in Tokyo for about 20 years. Starting studying English before 30 years old, my English skills took me to be a translator, then a tutor of English and finally a tour guide. I have worked as a tour guide since 2014. The job is good opportunities to deepen the understanding of my hometown. I like the night view of the town watching from the top of Mt.Hakodate. The cherry blossoms blooming in Goryokaku Fort in early May are amaing. There are Western-style buildings and churches built more than 100 years ago. I am really proud of my hometown and so glad to introduce the town to foreign visitors. I look forward to meeting new people and share my hometown.
