Togakushi Sacred Shrines & Nature Tour
Meeting Point: Nagano Station
- Meet your driver inside Nagano Station in front of the Information Board/video monitors, across from the Shinkansen/Bullet Train ticket gates.
- After a brief introduction, depart for Togakushi.
Departure for Togakushi
- Travel for 40 minutes through the scenic mountains of Togakushi while your guide shares history and cultural insights.
Zuishinmon Gate & Cedar Avenue at Togakushi Okusha Shrine
- Walk through the iconic Zuishinmon Gate, surrounded by 400-year-old cedar trees.
- Stroll along the serene cedar-lined pathway leading toward Okusha Shrine (due to time constraints, you won't go all the way to the Upper Shrine).
- Duration: 30 minutes.
Togakushi Chusha Shrine (Middle Shrine)
- Visit the central Togakushi Chusha Shrine, which is dedicated to the deity Tajikarao-no-Mikoto.
- Admire the traditional architecture and tranquil surroundings.
- Duration: 10 minutes.
Lunch: Togakushi Soba Experience

Return to Nagano Station
